The Langbo Chengdu, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
The hotel's interior design revolves around the cultural concept of “warm as jade,” created by renowned designer Yang Bangsheng. With jade as the core aesthetic inspiration, the design seamlessly blends the warm texture of traditional Eastern jade with modern design language.
Inspired by jade’s warmth, the spatial forms are carefully shaped to create a refined atmosphere. Its modest and understated qualities reflect the essence of Eastern aesthetics, while its clarity is transformed into a rhythmic harmony often described as “jade resonating with gold.”
By incorporating local cultural elements, the design balances the vitality of everyday life with contemporary sophistication, offering guests an immersive experience that gracefully combines Eastern elegance with modern luxury.

The Cloud Lobby on the 38th floor frames the city skyline through panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, where expansive views and refined details complement one another.
In front of the windows, the art sculpture “Sunrise East Corner” interacts with natural light and shifting reflections, creating a constantly evolving visual experience.

The lobby reception area is themed around “Life Is Like a Drama.” A metal screen backdrop unfolds like a theater curtain, creating a sense of anticipation as guests arrive.
Streamlined design elements flow through stone and metal, balancing strength and softness while inviting guests into an immersive spatial experience.
The hotel’s bespoke art installation, “Flower Dance World,” captures the blooming moment of the hibiscus flower, Chengdu’s official flower, beneath the dome.
Bathed in light, the installation casts gradient crimson hues throughout the hotel’s elegant interior palette, creating a poetic visual atmosphere.
Symmetrical wall lamps reflect the elegance of Eastern aesthetics, while vermilion sofas bring a touch of traditional Chinese charm.
The mix of leather sofas and fabric armchairs adds a relaxed Western atmosphere.
Overlooking the Jinjiang River and the historic East Gate, guests can savor authentic flavors while enjoying a refined and leisurely experience.

The Dining Room, an elevated Western restaurant, draws inspiration from the rich green of jade, incorporating emerald tones into its design. Red brick walls recall the charm of the old city, while retro-patterned flooring creates a delightful contrast with the restaurant’s elegant elements.
Fabric pendant lights, decorative drapes, and sleek, minimalist table settings come together to evoke a retro café atmosphere, offering guests a refined and stylish dining experience.

From the corridor that extends like a time tunnel to the private dining rooms, different kinds of jade decorations are placed throughout the space, complementing the ink-style paintings on the walls.
The furniture features soft, curved lines and is made from high-quality materials such as leather and solid wood, adding a sense of elegance and luxury to the space.
While enjoying exquisite cuisine here, guests can also experience the refined atmosphere inspired by traditional Chinese scholars.
